Blues Lab Workshop (Weekly) Blues Lab is a weekly, hands-on workshop where we dig into the blues in a real, practical way — by actually playing. This is not just talking about theory, and it’s not just a loose jam session either. It’s guided, structured, and focused on helping you make real progress while enjoying the process. In Blues Lab, we work on: • 12 bar blues progressions and common song structures • Chord voicings found throughout traditional and modern blues • Shuffle patterns and developing strong groove • Improvising with pentatonic scales — and expanding beyond them • Clear phrasing, feel, and musical expression Everything happens in a playing context. You learn by doing, with professional and encouraging guidance every step of the way. I break concepts down clearly, demonstrate them in context, and then help you apply them right away so they actually stick. The goal is simple: build confidence, develop authentic feel, and help you sound more like you when you play. Blues is about expression, groove, and conversation.
